Dr. Nguyen is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, one of the most competitive magnet schools in the country. He went on to earn his Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Virginia Tech in 2011, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
He then completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2015. While at VCU, Dr. Nguyen was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society — an honor reserved for only the top students of each graduating class, recognizing excellence in both academics and leadership.

Prior to completing his residency, Dr. Nguyen completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship at the University of Pennsylvania. He then completed his full OMS residency at West Virginia University School of Dentistry at Ruby Memorial Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. Through his training, Dr. Nguyen gained extensive knowledge and skill in:

Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Jean and their dogs Bonnie and Oliver, cooking, fishing, amateur powerlifting, and exploring new restaurants.
